Control and Simulation

The division of C&S may rightly be called multidisciplinary as witnessed by the main streams for the final Masters study. These are: Aircraft Modeling and Identification; Real Time Simulation and Software Engineering; Aircraft Control and Handling Qualities; Human-Machine Interfaces and Flight Deck Development; Avionics and Air Traffic Management; and, finally, Dynamics and Control of Space Vehicles.

Control and simulation are engineering disciplines that 'close the loop' of the modern design cycle of aerospace vehicles ranging from fixed and rotary wing aircraft, to rockets and spacecraft. Here, theory and practice are combined in exciting and challenging fields of study for talented and ambitious students.
